TRIANGULAR CHESS
ON THE HEXAGONAL CHESS BOARD

Chess-men moves

A match’s
developmen

Triangular chess,
so called because of the central triangle
that the players must pass by,
is placed on an hexagonal chess board.
All chess-men can easily move
around this triangle because of their own mobility,
except the pawns when they will be placed
on one of the six squares
next to the three sides of the triangle.
These pawns will be blocked by this key triangle and will not be able to progress unless
they take an enemy chess-man.
Positioned in that way,
these pawns are like guardians.
